SEO Tips to Help You Get Found

You’ve got the design. Now let’s make sure people can find you too!
Here are a few easy SEO tips to help your Showit website show up on Google, without needing to be an expert.

🔍 1. Add Page Titles and Meta Descriptions
Go to Page Settings > SEO Settings on each page.
Page Title = what shows up in Google search (keep it clear!)
Example: “Brand designer for fashion brands”
Meta Description = 1–2 short sentences explaining your service
Example: “Support your body & mind with custom nutrition programs and fitness coaching. Based in Austin, TX – available online.”
✅ Tip: Include your main keyword naturally.

🖼️ 2. Add Alt Text to Your Images
Alt text = a short description of what’s in the image.
To add it: Click on the image > Right sidebar > ‘SEO Description’
Example:
❌ “IMG_1923.jpg”
✅ “Smiling fitness coach stretching in sunny studio”

💬 3. Use Clear Headings (H1, H2…)
Each page should have one H1 title (usually your main headline), then subheadings like H2 or H3.
This helps Google understand what your content is about.
✅ Tip: Don’t skip heading levels (go from H1 > H2 > H3 in order).

✍️ 4. Write Helpful, Human Content
Write like you're talking to your dream client.
Answer their questions. Use keywords naturally. Don’t stuff them.
💡 Instead of “online personal trainer Austin” 10x…
Say: “As an online personal trainer based in Austin, I help you build habits that last.”

🌐 5. Set Up a Custom Domain
If you haven’t already, connect your own domain name (like www.morningwellness.com).
This builds trust and helps with Google rankings.

📱 6. Don’t Forget Mobile SEO
Showit lets you design desktop & mobile separately — which is amazing!
But don’t forget to check your mobile view before publishing:
Easy to read?
Buttons tappable?
No broken layouts?

📬 7. Create a Blog (Even Just One Post!)
Blogging helps SEO — even 1–2 helpful posts can make a big difference.
Ideas:
“3 Easy Breakfast Tips from a Nutritionist”
“Beginner Home Workout Plan”
“How I Help You Reach Your Wellness Goals”
